Brenda retired in 2004 after a career in education as a teacher and administrator. She enjoys gardening, canning, photography and sharing our health message. She served as head deaconess, organist and pianist in her local church before helping to establish the Morganton Mission in North Carolina.

Raquel Akens has been ministering together with her husband, Thomas Akens, for the past 8 years. She is an undergraduate of Accounting and currently works for Pioneer Health and Missions in the Finance department.
Dustin Butler is the great, great-grandson of GC President George I. Butler, and a fifth-generation Seventh-day Adventist. He serves as director of Pioneer Health and Missions, and is the Head Elder at Orosi Pioneer Mission.
